Abstract:
The current literature on well-being mostly focuses on the pre-factors that produce well-being, but the research on the adverse effects of well-being is often ignored. This paper investigates and analyzes the micro-data survey and analysis of Chinese rural residents' cooking energy consumption, and explores the impact of rural residents' well-being on the selection factors of green cooking energy consumption, which helps to understand the driving factors behind rural residents' green cooking energy consumption. With a view to providing guidance for rural green energy consumption guidance policies. Based on the data of CFPS2016, this research used the descriptive analysis, binary logistic regression, and coefficient of variation weighting method to carry out weight analysis on subjective and objective well-being of individual well-being, and focuse on the impact of subjective and objective well-being of rural residents on the choice of green food energy consumption. The results showed that (1) The subjective and objective well-being of rural residents was the promotion of the emphasis on the choice of green cooking energy consumption decisions. (2) Objective well-being had a significant positive effect on the choice of green cooking energy consumption in both male and female groups. However, subjective well-being only had a significant positive effect on green cooking consumption in the female group. (3) There was a significant regional difference between well-being and rural residents' prediction of green cooking energy consumption. Subjective well-being only had a significant positive effect on rural residents in northeast China. (4) Younger women were more likely to adopt green cooking consumption. The conclusion is that the improvement of the well-being of rural residents has a significant impact on the prediction of green cooking energy consumption.
